Stop A’ The Clocks Cut Off The Phone
Stop a’ the clocks, cut off the phone,
Prevent the dog fae barking wi a Caeser Milan,
Silence the ipods and with unmuffled exhaust
Bring oot the laptops, let the FB moaners post.
Now that the Cooncil will no longer maintain Morays Toon Clocks. Lots of Toons have been left stuck in time, Keith is stuck at 6.05, am or pm? no one knows anymore and some folk haven’t slept for 2 weeks. Cullen’s clock is stuck at 8.30 the exact time the local mobile chippy van comes, there is now a queue 3 miles long and fowk are gettin impatient and hungry. Dufftoons clock is stuck at 3.03 which is a palindrome.
A Palindrome is a word, phrase or sequence which reads the same in both directions. Derived from the Greek palíndromos, meaning running back again, a palindrome reads the same forward and backward, with general allowances for adjustments to punctuation and word dividers.
Not an airfield full of ex Monty Python travel documentary presenters.
Buckies clock of course is stuck at 1855 not pm but AD. With all other Toon clocks slowing down and eventually stopping altogether locals are hoping it at least stops during the day, no one wants stuck in permanent night. Well except Rothes.
