DUKE HAS SPAVER OPEN ON ELGIN MONUMENT
World renowned archaeologist Professer Naffa Man has made an amazing discovery during a survey of Elgins Lady Hill. It would appear that the statue at the top of the monument of The Duke Of Gordon has “left his barn door open”.
How can this be? Surely the artisit commisioned to sculpt the statute wouldn’t do this on purpose? On the contrary the Professor found that the Duke was well known for always “flying low” and this was probably an in joke around the time and was left open on purpose. Correspondence from the Duke to his Dog Rover during the war also implied he knew of this . Here is an extract >> “Dear Rover i hope you are well and have enough tennis balls to amuse you until my return, i’m still laughing to myself about that statue in Elgin still wonder if anyone will noticed lol.” The Professor added at first i thought it was a shadow but when viewed through a telescope or powerful binoculars that are capable of seeing in folks windows right across town, you can clearly see his Turtle’s peekin’ out.
